Reviving passion for the construction industry
Our Story
Diesel & Iron was born from a passion of the construction industry. I have spent my entire life around heavy equipment. Many of my best childhood memories are from different jobsites I visited and equipment rides I got to go on. That passion turned into a career in the heavy equipment industry, first as an operator, then as an equipment salesman.
Fueled by Passion
In 2019 I took a leap and decided to use my passion to help get others into the skilled trades. Many of the skilled trades are hurting for people who want to work hard. Tradesmen across the board are being pulled out of retirement to fill seats due to the lack of new blood that is able to fill them. Across the aisle is a group of young people who know nothing about the industry and don’t know where to begin. My goal is to help bridge that gap through Diesel & Iron.

My YouTube channel is centered around setting expectations for those coming into the industry as well as teaching basic skills. The Down and Dirty series takes new operators through various aspects of operating equipment along with helpful knowledge about the industry. I have recently started a vlog series as well to help give new operators “on the job” training. My goal is to give people a real look at jobsite situations, both good and bad, as well as how they are handled.
